OUR STORY

Kinderhilfe was founded by Danny Hudson.  Through his own life experience, he understands what it feels like to move constantly because of unpaid bills.  He created Kinderhilfe to foster stable home environments for children.

 

OUR MISSION

The mission of Kinderhilfe is to provide financial support for families in transition or crisis. Our dedicated members and volunteers want to strengthen our community and foster self-sufficiency by providing emergency rent, utility assistance, and other financial resources.

Our Team

Danny Hudson President

  • Employed in the construction industry for 28 years.
  • Founded Kinderhilfe in 2021 with the goal of helping families who are experiencing financial instability.
  • Father of twins.
  • Responsibilities at Kinderhilfe:

    • Ensure programs are implemented properly.
    • Hire and manage employees ,contractors and volunteers.
  • Hobbies: Danny loves camping, hiking , and doing ropes courses with his family and friends.

Sharon Grady  Treasurer

  • Has been working in the banking industry for over 40 years.
  • Sharon volunteered for Kinderhilfe to help families in need get back on their feet. She feels that no one should suffer due to loss of their household income.
  • Sharon is a mother of 5, grandmother of 12, and great-grandmother of 3 in May.
  • She has supported the Jacksonville Jaguars Football since 1995 regardless of if they win or lose.

Becky Pearl Secretary

  • Has worked as a medical secretary for over 20 years.
  • Becky is currently employed with a very large medical provider in the Charlotte area.
  • Becky assists Kinderhilfe with internal communications and record keeping.
  • Becky was inspired to help families in need. She loves helping children.
  • Becky is grateful for her father who was a pastor for over 50 years. She is a mother of two grandmother to one.
  • Hobbies: All outdoor activities including fishing, swimming, and reading.
